25 April 2024 News The InterStroyExpo 2024 exhibition became a key event in the industry. Exhibitors presented new and already in demand materials, technologies and equipment for construction, repair, decoration, restoration, engineering works, as well as furniture and interior items and decor were presented on the market. Over 100 companies, manufacturers and suppliers from Russia, China and the Republic of Belarus took part in the anniversary event. The exposition of the InterStroyExpo and Design&Decor exhibitions was visited by more than 3,800 specialists, including representatives of: construction and development companies, design companies and architectural bureaus, design studios, design and installation and engineering companies, management and operational organizations, urban facilities and institutions, as well as the Government of St. Petersburg, industry committees, foundations and associations. At the opening ceremony of the 30th anniversary exhibition, the symbolic red ribbon was cut by Evgeny Enokaev, First Deputy Chairman of the Leningrad Region Construction Committee, and Valery Uskov, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Construction Committee. "The exhibition is a landmark, many construction companies come here and learn about new technologies, new building materials that are used. We saw here at the exhibition a large area of elevator equipment, which is produced on the territory of St. Petersburg and in nearby cities. Therefore, it is useful to visit the exhibition," said Valery Uskov, Deputy Chairman of the St. Petersburg Construction Committee. As part of the official opening ceremony, the organizers awarded commemorative diplomas for their long-term participation in InterStroyExpo and reliable partnership to companies that have been participating in the exhibition for more than ten years: Tizol, Nevsky elevator, Mogilevliftmash, NPP Interpribor, Promelectronics, TeoHim Neva. THE EXHIBITION EXPOSITION AND EXHIBITORS’ OPINION At InterStroyExpo 2024, over 100 companies presented materials and equipment in 15 sections: construction and finishing materials, facades, prefabricated structures, metal structures, window systems, tools, loading equipment, fasteners, elevators, equipment and materials for water supply, ventilation, heating, landscaping, fire protection, restoration, electrical and lighting equipment, interior and decor items and much more. More than 50 companies presented their products for the first time. The center of attraction for specialists was a large-scale exposition of manufacturers and suppliers in the section of elevators and lifting equipment. The premiere of the exhibition at the Serpukhov Elevator Plant stand was an interactive elevator, which was developed by Artemy Lebedev Studio based on Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. This is the next generation of elevators with a completely different level of intelligence, a special atmosphere of aesthetics and comfort, a new level of reliability and safety. This year, the first deliveries of this equipment to several residential complexes in Russian cities will begin. Shcherbinsky Elevator Plant presented a unique exhibition sample for the St. Petersburg market, taking into account classical architectural traditions and modern construction. Yuri Lyadunov, Head of the Business Analytics Department at SCHLZ, commented on the results of the company's participation: "I would like to thank the organizers of the InterStroyExpo exhibition. At this event, we could communicate with both our potential customers from among the developers, and with potential partners who are ready to supply technical solutions in terms of finishing, lighting equipment, component base for elevators of our plant." Feedback from the participants of the exhibition Samara Ceramic Materials Combine JSC received a positive, and most importantly, significant result from participation in the exhibition, which presented a new modification of KERAKAM and KAIMAN ceramic blocks at the exhibition. Nikita Kryukov, Project Manager: "The International exhibition InterStroyExpo 2024 was fruitful and effective! We met and talked with representatives of various developers, retail chains, and introduced customers to the quality and assortment of our plant." Kirill Kochetkov, head of the production department of the Moscow company Vertical: "We came to the InterStroyExpo exhibition with our novelty – the RADIANT supply ventilation valve. We also took part in a procurement session with developers, and only positive emotions remained. In general, there are a lot of targeted visitors, we managed to gather a lot of contacts and chat with a lot of people, make new acquaintances and connections!" Sergey Akunishnikov, Head of the Individual sales department of the ROMANA/ELMAF gaming sports equipment factory from Cheboksary: "We have brought new products of our production, an assortment of small architectural forms, for equipping residential buildings, parks, squares and recreation areas. According to the exhibition, I would like to mention the site: a good location, a pleasant room, a lot of space. According to the goals of the exhibition, it can be considered a success for us. We have found our target customers: these are the developers of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region. We have gathered a lot of contacts, now we have a lot of work to do to bring the projects to life." BUSINESS PROGRAMME The key event of the business program of the exhibition was the IBC Construction Congress. The congress was attended by over 100 experts and attended by more than 500 listeners. The partner of the event is the SAMOLET Strana Company (SAMOLET Group). For the first time, the Congress hosted a Procurement session, a practical discussion with the participation of buyers and a session in the format of individual negotiations between manufacturers of building materials and equipment and procurement specialists from key developers, wholesalers and network trading companies. The session was sponsored by EVRAZ Market JSC. The participants noted the non-standard format of the event and were among the first to assess its effectiveness. "The InterStroyExpo exhibition unites suppliers and builders at the procurement session. Within the framework of the exhibition, the Stone Market company presented its granite products from the North-West of the Russian Federation for companies using stone materials in their work. Live meetings and communication, exchange of opinions and discussions on how to work together are important and necessary! We are glad to meet colleagues from Maxidom and TopHouse," Andrey Kapustin, Director of Stone Market, answered questions on product types, deadlines, volumes, and also received feedback from developers. Resonant and acutely significant issues of integrated development of megacities and agglomerations, the role of infrastructure facilities for developers were discussed by experts of the strategic session "Development of Territories. Reality and new opportunities." Speakers and experts of the conference "Cultural Heritage. Conservation through development and development through conservation" discussed the placement of engineering and additional attachments at cultural heritage sites and historical buildings. The organizer of the event is Committee for the state preservation of historical and cultural monuments. Also, as part of the business events, a session "Formation of a comfortable urban environment" (sponsored by MEGAPOLIS company), a master class "Business class residential buildings – innovative engineering systems equipment" from AVOK, as well as a round table "Construction in law. Business by the rules". As part of the Designer's Day, specialists from design institutions took part in the session "Course on digitalization in the construction industry. The transition of the construction industry to BIM technologies". The specialists tested software solutions Renga Software, Rombit, ASKON, AiBim, CSoft Northwest from leading Russian IT developers and integrators at the BIM-ARENA technology site. RESTORER OF THE YEAR COMPETITION From April 16 to 18, the 15th Professional Skills Competition "Restorer of the Year - 2024" was held at the open area of the exhibition. The organizers of the competition are traditionally the Committee for the state preservation of historical and cultural monuments and the Regional Public Organization for the Promotion of the Restoration industry "UNION OF RESTORERS of ST. PETERSBURG". The competition was held in five categories. Open master classes were held at the competition area. The Vice-Governor of St. Petersburg, Evgeny Razumishkin, took part in the summing up and awarding ceremony for the winners and participants of the Restorer of the Year 2024 competition, who thanked the restorers for their painstaking work and noted that the preservation of cultural heritage is one of the priorities of the Government of St. Petersburg: "On behalf of the Governor of St. Petersburg, Alexander Dmitrievich Beglov It was decided to launch a program of restoration of facades of apartment buildings – 255 monuments with the most complex architectural decoration, which are in poor technical condition. Real professionals in their field are involved in this work, people who are inspired by their work."
